Maintenance Mechanic

Core Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Work to perform expeditious handling of line calls, diligent pursuit of equipment troubleshooting and completion of all types of maintenance work order requests. 
  • Assemble and install electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural components and accessories, using hand tools and power tools
  • Inspect completed work to certify that maintenance meets standards and that equipment is ready for operation.
  • Conduct routine and special inspections as required Maintain paperwork (i.e. reports, work orders, schematics and/or blueprints).
  • Organize and maintain shop and parts inventory. Inventory and requisition supplies, parts, materials, and equipment.
  • Communicate with other workers to coordinate fitting and alignment of heavy parts, or to facilitate processing of repairs
  • Operate computers to facilitate the creation and completion of work orders as well as documenting work accomplished and identification of parts used
