Prism® SureColor® Grout

A lightweight, polymer-modified, cement-based grout that offers consistent color without mottling or shading, regardless of tile type, temperature or humidity. With dense joints that provide more stain resistance than standard cement grouts, cures quickly and develops high early-strength to accommodate grout joints from 1/16" (1.6 mm) to 1/2" (13 mm). Prism® may be used for interior or exterior installations, including floors, countertops, walls, ceilings, showers, fountains and pools.

Composition & Materials

Prism^® SureColor^® Grout is a blend of specialty cements, recycled aggregates and chemicals.

Benefits

Limitations

Should not be installed when ambient surface temperature is lower than 50°F (10°C) or higher than 100°F (38°C).
Some ceramic tile, marble or stone can be scratched, stained or damaged by sanded or pigmented grout. White grout is generally best for light-colored marble or granite. Test a small area prior to use.

Polyblend® Non-Sanded Grout
may be appropriate for tile not suitable for sanded grout.
Tile with high absorption, surface porosity or rough, textured surfaces and certain types of porcelain may require sealing prior to grouting to prevent staining. Use

Tilelab® SurfaceGard® Sealer
to prevent grout staining, when required.
Color variation can occur due to tile type, tile porosity, jobsite conditions, application and cleaning techniques. Variation can be minimized by following directions and using as little water as possible for cleanup.
Chemicals in salt-based pool filtration systems can cause a reaction with blue, green and red grouts. Contact Technical Services for recommendations.
